What Kids Will Learn
Get ready to cook like a pro and eat like a champion! Turn ONE meal into many in this chef taught, hands-on cooking class that shows young chefs how to think and cook like a pro. We’ll start by making a whole roasted chicken dinner. Students will then learn how to transform leftovers into delicious new dishes for the week ahead.
What we’ll learn: After diving into the way we can easily cook a delicious chicken dinner, we’ll use the “leftovers” to whip up a couple of additional meals to be served from it. From a soul warming chicken soup to a sizzling stir fry to the perfect chicken salad sandwich. But this isn’t just about tasty bites– it’s about smart cooking. You’ll learn how to handle knives safely, season like a chef and plan meals that stretch your ingredients without wasting a thing. ‘The magic’?...turning one meal into many. Great cooks know how to make every effort count. They transform leftovers into fresh new dishes and making flavor go the extra mile.
