What Kids Will Learn

Get ready for a whisk-tastic adventure! In this hands-on culinary class, kids will learn to cook up a breakfast spread that’s both delicious and full of real kitchen skills. Guided by a professional chef, young cooks will crack, mix, flip and create their way through the most important meal of the day— gaining confidence and learning how fun creativity in the kitchen can be!

What we’ll be making: Omelettes - master the art of cracking eggs, seasoning like a chef and folding fluffy omelettes filled with fresh ingredients. Learn timing, stove safety and how to cook proteins just right. Ricotta Pancakes - soft, pillowy perfection! Measuring, mixing and discovering how science makes pancakes light and golden - learning precision and patience in every flip. Maple Bacon Twists - sweet, savory and perfectly crisp! We’ll practice oven safety, balance flavors and learn how caramelization makes food extra tasty. Quick Jam Compote - simmering your favorite fruit topping gives you a chance to see how to turn a simple ingredient into some thing special. Fresh OJ Slush - squeezed fresh and frozen just right, this makes a great addition to breakfast or anytime during the day! By the end of class, each young chef will have built confidence in cooking independently, practiced real-world kitchen techniques and enjoyed a fun, flavor packed experience they’ll be proud to share.

What ages are the cooking classes for?

Our cooking classes are divided into three age groups so students can learn alongside others their age: 8–12 years, 12–16 years, and 16–17 years.

Do parents stay during the class?

Parents are welcome to stay or drop off, depending on preference.

What should my child bring?

Nothing is needed — all ingredients and materials are provided.

What if my child has food allergies?

Please note during the registration process any food/material allergies or medical conditions (for example: asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, etc.) that we should be mindful and aware of.

What happens if the class is full?

Additional class dates will be added regularly.
